Resource Page
I decided to put together a list of resources for “newbies” who have an interest in what this two house one covenant messianic / Christian Hebrew roots movement is all about.
First, here is some of my own stuff that might be helpful
- My Dictionary of terms found here.
- My articles found here.
Here is a list of leaders that I can endorse and that I have found influential. Please not that this is not an exhaustive list but rather a good starting point.

Wildbranch Ministry Brad Scott |
A great resource on Hebrew. Very passionate and entertaining when you listen to him speak and see him in person. He has great insight on the creation and uses the things of nature in explaining the things he talks about. |
Lion and Lamb Monte Judah |
After graduating from the great teachings of Stan Fretwell, we relied on Monte Judah as an additional resource. If you have never been to Sukkoth (Feast of Tabernacles) I would definitely recommend checking it out See his One Year Torah Cycle. |
Torah Keepers Glenn McWilliams |
As of 2010, I am gleaning a great deal from this man’s teaching. As we at TYoAZ (Tzur Yisrael) have started our third triennial bible study, many in our group have been injecting much of his teaching in our midrash bible study. |
Millennium 7000 Communications Avi Ben Mordechai |
A great teacher who has an insight into the law which is my passion. He is a Jew who know is a believer in Y’shua, but still observes the Torah. His stinging critique of Rabbinical Judaism is quite powerfull. It’s along the lines of Nehemiah Gordon who is not a believer but is a Karaite Jew. Avi’s teaching is important because I fear that if someone who came from Christianity and said the same things Avi teaches he would be dismissed as an anti-Semite. Known for his extensive book on the Book of Galatians. |
Shoreshim Ministries Bill Cloud |
Another fine teacher who has a lot of good work on end times study. |
Restoration of Torah Tony Robinson |
This is someone who has caught on to an advanced study called thematic analysis and the chiastic structure of scripture. Very neat stuff as it shows how there are multiple levels of understanding in the scripture. |
If this is what you want to do and be, then there is no way to get around the issue that you need to study the word. You have to be systematic and it is highly encouraged that you join a group of like minded individuals. This means you need to start reading the Torah cycle (start off with the one year cycle at first and consider moving to a three year cycle later on). It also means you need to find a group that gathers on Shabbath (Saturday the Sabbath) and that takes this thing seriously.
